He named his Mee-Hoon-Kueh shop “Zu Chuan Mee-Hoon-Kueh”, symbolizing his hope that his product can be passed down and become a timeless delicacy.

At that time, Chern Wong wanted more people to be able to eat the Mee-Hoon-Kueh, so he planned to expand the brand and open branches in shopping malls and residential areas.
